Being Sweet

It‘s part of the deal: the Terrible Two’s! Most children start to develop their own identity and explore boundaries between their 2nd and 3rd year. An important phase, but one fraught with stubbornness, bad temper and unwillingness to share. Instead of getting into a confrontation with your child, divert their attention and let them cool down.

Choose a calmer moment to tell your child what good behaviour is and what it is not. Encourage good behaviour by rewarding it when it happens.
In this interactive story your child gets to say what is sweet and what is not. And, just like Kiddie in the story, your child gets to put a sticker on the Reward Chart after being sweet. Then wave the next bad temper away by singing the “Kiddie is Sweet” song out loud!
